Compare mode on JSTOR

Comparing content while teaching or making image selection

When searching or presenting content from your Workspace, use Compare mode to view images or text items more closely.

Tips:

Use Compare Mode

  • in the classroom
  • when choosing images to save
  • to zoom in on significant text or image details
  • to choose different image combinations to explore with students

Presenting and comparing content on JSTOR

Presenting and Comparing on JSTOR

Present and Compare mode together allow for maximum teaching flexibility within JSTOR.

From any folder in your JSTOR Workspace, choose Present at the top of the screen. This will launch Present mode. Use the arrows at the bottom of the present screen to move from item to item within Present mode.

Within Present mode, you have the ability to view the item with or without showing the tombstone metadata by clicking on the hide or show item detail button at the bottom of the present screen.  At the top of every item, you will find a series of buttons. You can use these to fit the time to size, or zoom in.
