Gund Library lends a variety of items, including books, movies, graphic novels, games, and more. Find everything you need by using Ebsco Discovery Service in the search box above.
Renewing your borrowed items is easy, you can call, text, chat, email, or stop by the library. You may also access your library account online to renew your items or opt into a reading list. Stop by the library or go to our homepage to learn how to set up your account.
Books from our General Book Collection can be borrowed for three weeks with four renewals. CIA faculty have the additional privilege of borrowing these books for six months with one renewal.
Graphic Novels and Pop-up books can be borrowed for three weeks with four renewals.
Books from the Teaching & Learning Collection as well as some restricted books from the general stacks are restricted and lend for one week with one renewal.
Games go out for one week with one renewal.
The library provides access to streaming videos as well as DVDs and Blu-rays. DVDs and Blu-rays can be checked out for seven days and are not renewable.

Our Magazine Collection includes both print and digital subscriptions. Print magazines must be used in the library.
Digital subscriptions can be found at Flipster and Exact Editions, as well as in our many databases.
You can borrow items from Ohiolink or SearchOhio and have them delivered, for free, to the CIA Library.
If you think it is something that we should have in our library, please complete the resource request form. Please note: Only CIA faculty, staff, and students can request purchases for the library and the library reserves the right to make the final decision on purchases.
Another option is Interlibrary Loan. If you need something that is not available from Ohiolink or SearchOhio, please request the item via interlibrary loan. Please note: You or your department may be asked to pay a fee for interlibrary loans.
