Happy Fourth of July! The CIA Library will be closed Friday, July 4th for the Fourth of July Holiday. The library's normal summer hours will resume on Monday, July 7th.
All OhioLINK libraries have gone live in the new system and you are once again able to request materials from OhioLINK partner libraries in Primo (the new library discovery system).
You no longer need to know your library account number or specify a pick up location to request materials. Your Primo login is the same as your CIA login. If you are logged into Primo, you will be able to request physical items from other OhioLINK libraries with two simple clicks.
Here's a quick overview of the process.
Go to the Library's website OR directly to our Primo search site.
Click “sign in” on the upper right corner (use your normal CIA credentials).
Do your search. If an item comes up that is only available at an OhioLINK library, you will see a “Get a Physical Copy” option that looks like this:
Click “Get It" to open the request screen. Please note that the number of days you can keep an item may be different from what shows up in this image. All you need to do here, is click “Send.” The book has been requested and you will get a notification when it is ready to pick up!
It's really easy to borrow OhioLINK books!
